On the 11st November 2025 the Study in Hungary Directorate on behalf of the Tempus Public Foundation will organise an information and consultation event for the representatives of diaspora organisations and other partners contributing to the promotion of the programme or involved in the application process. The event is about the announcement of the current call for applications for the Hungarian Diaspora Scholarship for the academic year 2026/2027, during which we will share news about the program and answer the questions that arise.

In our efforts in increasing the number of scholarship holders next year we would also like to rely on our partners’ experience when promoting the scholarship programme.
The Hungarian Diaspora Scholarship is for those who live in a Hungarian diaspora outside of the European Union and wish to study at a Hungarian higher education institution to develop their personal, professional, and cultural relations to Hungary. The programme aims to support the professional advancement of the scholarship holders with high-quality Hungarian higher education while improving their Hungarian language skills and strengthening their Hungarian identity.
The event is going to be held online the participants will get the entry link after the approved registration. We would like to ask you to send your registration until the 10th of November, 12:00.
This event is specifically for the representatives of diaspora organisations, Hungarian missions abroad and other partner institutions, therefore, please do not forward this invitation to potential applicants and families. For applicants, there will be another event in December and January.
The language of the event will be English.
